During October 2004 the Secretary of the Navy, The Honorable Gordon R. England, visited the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, Florida. The intent of Secretary’s visit was to see the systems, technologies, and products that support the NAVY’S mine warfare plan. Hydroid’s Kevin McCarthy, VP of Marketing, briefs the Secretary on the capabilities of the REMUS AUV and its applicability for mine countermeasure operations.
