During September 2004, Hydroid conducted REMUS demonstrations for several representatives of the Republic of Korea. Hyong Ossi (center) of Otronix, Hydroid’s exclusive representative in South Korea, coordinated the visit of the Korean government representatives. Kevin McCarthy (far left) and Eric Gifford (far right) conducted the REMUS demonstrations in Buzzards Bay, very near Hydroid’s Pocasset, MA, facilities. Hydroid is planning on conducting a series of REMUS trials in waters off South Korea during 2005.
