(August 25, 2004) Hydroid
is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Erik White
for the position of Field Technician. Erik has over
ten years experience in information technology and computer
diagnostics. He was most recently with Allied Systems
Technology, where he was employed as a Systems Administrator
and Network and Telecommunications Technician.
Erik spent ten years in the US Navy
both at the Naval War College in Newport, RI, as well
as stationed onboard the USS MOOSBRUGGER (DD-980), in
Mayport, Florida. While at the War College he worked
as a System Technician/Instructor and Network/Computer
Repair Technician. During a four year tour onboard the
USS MOOSBRUGGER he was an Electronic Warfare Technician/Supervisor.
Commenting on the hiring of Mr. White,
Hydroid’s president Ken Jordan stated, “Erik
brings a unique skill set that enables Hydroid to expand
our staff of field technicians. With over sixty REMUS
systems in use around the world we’re growing
our field service infrastructure to enable us to continue
to provide the high level of after sales service and
support that we demand of the organization. We welcome
Erik aboard.”
