(April 20, 2004 - East Falmouth,
MA) Hydroid is pleased to welcome Michael Mulrooney
(standing at left) and Jeffrey Wheeler (standing at
right) to the Hydroid team.
Jeffrey Wheeler joined us most recently
as a Software Engineer. He has over 20 years of software
engineering experience. His most recent position was
with Communica, where he held the position of Lead Engineer.
He brings with him extensive knowledge of Embedded Systems,
Microsoft Windows, Unix/Linux/BSD, and other environments
including applications, tools and OS internals. He has
a broad base of experience with dozens of programming
languages, including tools internals.
Michael Mulrooney joined us as an
Electronic Systems Technician. Having previous operational
experience with the REMUS, Michael has hit the ground
running and spends most of his days at sea assisting
with REMUS sea-trials. While on shore he is actively
involved in REMUS fabrication and testing activities.
His most recent position was with Rutgers University
Marine Field Station in Tuckerton, New Jersey, where
he was involved with the operations of their REMUS system.
Welcome aboard to both Jeffrey and
Michael.
